The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson Jr throws a hook but Ring avoids it easily.
Johnson Jr tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ring sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Johnson Jr somewhat.
Ring tries to counter with a clinch but Johnson Jr shakes him off and moves away.
