Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vince Johnson Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ken Ring! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Franklyn Lucas and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson Jr throws a hook but Ring avoids it easily. Johnson Jr tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ring sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Johnson Jr somewhat. Ring tries to counter with a clinch but Johnson Jr shakes him off and moves away. Ring moves into range and clinches up with Johnson Jr. Ring stalling.
Ring blocking some punches.
Johnson Jr takes a shot to the head. Ring misses with a hook from the clinch. Ring prevents a takedown attempt there.
Johnson Jr jumps guard but Ring stands there with Johnson Jr around his waist. Johnson Jr gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vince Johnson Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ring lands a shot to the body. Johnson Jr is breathing heavily. Nice body punch from Ring. Johnson Jr wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Ring lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Johnson Jr backwards. Johnson Jr is looking to take this one to the mat. Ring lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Ring lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Ring lands a left hand.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Ring. Still in the clinch, Ring scores with a nice short uppercut. Ring gets through Johnson Jr's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Ring scores with a shoulder strike.
Johnson Jr is rocked! A short left from Ring. Oh Johnson Jr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ring misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Johnson Jr seems to have got his legs back now. A short left from Ring. Ring lands a right hand that snaps the head of Johnson Jr backwards. Ring lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Ring scores with an uppercut up the middle. Ring lands a left hand that snaps the head of Johnson Jr backwards. Ring pushes Johnson Jr against the cage. Ring is working some dirty boxing. Ring pushes off with a quick right hook! Johnson Jr goes down! Johnson Jr tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Ring moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
