Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edward Stoker (ranked 103 p4p, 17 weight class) and Jay Gatsby (ranked 191 p4p, 25 weight class). Stoker comes to the cage accompanied by Let There Be Rock by AC/DC. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gatsby wants to slow Stoker down by chopping away at his legs.
Stoker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gatsby moves away.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Stoker checks a leg kick.

Stoker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gatsby looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Gatsby changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stoker tries to avoid it but Gatsby manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stoker to the ground. Stoker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gatsby has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
