The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shakamutdinov has taken the fight to the clinch.
Moss tries to score a body lock takedown but Shakamutdinov shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Shakamutdinov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Shakamutdinov clinches up against the cage.
Moss tries to circle away but Shakamutdinov has him pinned against the cage.

Moss is trying to pull guard but Shakamutdinov turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Moss really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Shakamutdinov drags the fight down to the ground.
Shakamutdinov tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moss throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Shakamutdinov works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Shakamutdinov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Shakamutdinov unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Moss wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Shakamutdinov celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
