Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jah Wobble!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Luke Salazar!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salazar throws a series of strikes that have Wobble backpedaling.


It looks like Jah Wobble has been cut.

We've been hearing good reports from Wobble's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Salazar is trying to stick to Wobble's back but Wobble is turning into Salazar. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Salazar's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Wobble.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Wobble's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Salazar fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wobble avoids it really well and circles away.
