Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Connor Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank McMally (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Connor Kelly has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Connor Kelly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank McMally! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Kelly does no damage. McMally looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! A nice combination there by Kelly.
McMally has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from McMally there as he acknowledges the shot. Kelly swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Kelly rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McMally moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kelly misses with a double jab.
McMally bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kelly is trying to get back to half guard. Kelly is working hard here to advance position. McMally decides to stand back up. McMally takes one to the side of the head.
Kelly moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Kelly throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McMally stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kelly uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before McMally has time to react. McMally looking for a takedown here - he's got it. McMally is fighting to break Kelly's control of his arms but Kelly is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Kelly looking for a sweep. Not yet Kelly, not yet. Kelly not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McMally pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kelly is keeping the position for now. McMally stands up and waves to Kelly to follow him. McMally closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kelly to the mat! Kelly manages to get full guard. McMally not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Kelly doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Kelly is looking to control McMally's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kelly avoid being mounted? Kelly throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A left lands for Kelly. Kelly connects with a looping right hand.
Kelly bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McMally's head backwards. McMally feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kelly's calf. Some wild striking there from Kelly.
Kelly looks to land a combination. McMally sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank McMally dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Kelly scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Kelly is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. McMally fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kelly, pushing him back against the cage. Kelly changes levels and goes for a takedown here. McMally fights it off and pushes away nicely.
McMally tries to land a leg kick but Kelly saw it coming and moves away.
Kelly dips to his left and cracks McMally with an uppercut! McMally rushes Kelly and presses him up against the cage. Kelly fails to pull the fight into his guard.
McMally decides to pull guard. McMally keeping moving, preventing Kelly from controlling successfully. McMally is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kelly wants to pass the guard but McMally is keeping the position. Kelly missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. McMally looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. McMally moves into the clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kelly goes for a takedown attempt but McMally pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

McMally forces Kelly back against the cage and clinches. Kelly wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Both fighters are breathing heavily. McMally breaks the clinch.

McMally pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Kelly wants to hold on but McMally pushes him away. McMally with shots to the head and body - Kelly looks very uncomfortable down there. Kelly tries to reverse the position but McMally maintains control. Kelly regains half guard. McMally controlling the action here. McMally's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McMally in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Kelly tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from McMally!
