Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Irving Horn (ranked 6196 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjamin Bittaker (ranked 25062 p4p, 121 weight class). Bittaker has chosen Tech N9ne Disfunctional as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Irving Horn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Benjamin Bittaker! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bittaker changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Horn looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Horn sneaks out the side door and pushes Bittaker away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Bittaker drives through with a takedown into Horn's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Horn wriggles free and stands up. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bittaker throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Horn was covering up waiting for the punch and Bittaker finishes the takedown easily into guard. Horn has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bittaker off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Bittaker has managed to clinch.
Bittaker tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Horn manages to pull guard.
Horn manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Horn tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Horn jumps into guard, dragging Bittaker to the mat.
Horn pushes Bittaker off and gets back to his feet.
Horn gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Horn manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bittaker gets a double leg takedown into Horn's guard. Horn has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bittaker off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Horrible takedown attempt by Horn or perhaps it was just good defense by Bittaker, which made it look bad. Bittaker shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bittaker was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Horn throws Bittaker to one side and escapes! This has been an exciting period of action! Bittaker drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Horn is working an open guard so Bittaker takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Bittaker shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Horn's guard. Horn has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Bittaker has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Horn is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bittaker gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Horn regains guard.
Horn pushes Bittaker off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Bittaker shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bittaker was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Horn sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Horn gets full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Horn wants to stand up but Bittaker is controlling him. Bittaker postures up and lands a big shot to Horn's brow. Bittaker gets to his feet - Horn follows without any prompting. Bittaker darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Horn has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Bittaker is on him like a limpet, forcing Horn back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bittaker landing knees to the body.
Horn fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Irving Horn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Horn tries to pull guard but Bittaker forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Bittaker turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Bittaker manages to end up in side control. Horn is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bittaker is controlling him well. Bittaker decides to stand up, so the ref orders Horn to his feet. Horn gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Horn manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Bittaker decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Bittaker looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Horn with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Horn looks like he's trying to stand up.
Bittaker postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Horn to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bittaker shoots in and gets a takedown into Horn's guard. Bittaker stands up from Horn's guard - Bittaker perhaps looking for a knockout. Bittaker has managed to clinch.
Bittaker gets through Horn's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Horn changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bittaker fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Bittaker rushes Horn and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bittaker working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Horn wants to get back to striking at distance but Bittaker won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Irving Horn dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Horn gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Horn pushes Bittaker off and gets back to his feet.
Bittaker closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Horn did well to prevent Bittaker getting side control. Horn manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Bittaker keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Horn jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bittaker walks away with a smile on his face. Horn gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Bittaker looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Horn pushes Bittaker off and gets back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Irving Horn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bittaker dives in and scores a takedown into Horn's guard. Bittaker gets to his feet. Horn looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Benjamin Bittaker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bittaker shoots in and bounces Horn off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Horn pushes Bittaker off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
That's one minute gone in the round. A momentary lapse in concentration from Horn enables Bittaker to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Horn manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Bittaker gets to his feet. Horn looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Bittaker gets in close and instigates a clinch. Horn is trying to pull guard but Bittaker turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Horn tries to pull guard but Bittaker forces him back to his feet, against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Irving Horn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Horn has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bittaker is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. A head punch on the inside from Bittaker fails to land. Horn tries to pull guard but Bittaker holds him up against the cage and eventually Horn drops back down to his feet.
Bittaker digs a right hand into Horn's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Horn's gas tank. Bittaker works on Horn's body with a couple of short punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Horn tries for a takedown but Bittaker manages to get underhooks.
Bittaker lands a left hand.
Bittaker throws a head punch that misses. Horn jumps guard but Bittaker stands there with Horn around his waist. Horn gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
A right handed body shot lands from Bittaker.
Bittaker creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Horn's defenses.
It looks like Irving Horn has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bittaker lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Horn is rocked! Bittaker lands a big right hand that drops Horn! The killer instinct kicks in and Bittaker finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Bittaker!

A very excited looking Benjamin Bittaker made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
