15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mantis Toboggan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ludo Van Veen! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Toboggan throws a head kick that Van Veen semi-blocks.
Van Veen forces Toboggan back against the cage and clinches. Van Veen lands a nice shot to the body. Van Veen tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Van Veen misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Van Veen tries to work over Toboggan's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Van Veen tries to throw a body punch but Toboggan avoids it by throwing Van Veen back against the cage. Van Veen misses with a hook to the ribs.
Toboggan is looking to control Van Veen's arms but Van Veen gets an underhook and turns him. Now Toboggan has his back to the cage. Toboggan keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Van Veen's efforts to push away. Van Veen misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Toboggan is pushing Van Veen up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Van Veen can't find room to land a body shot as Toboggan controls the action.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Van Veen has a couple of punches blocked by Toboggan.
Toboggan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Toboggan misses with a straight right. Van Veen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Van Veen misses with an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Toboggan tries to clinch but Van Veen moves out of range. Toboggan lands a body shot.
Toboggan on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Van Veen lands a nice looking kick to the body. Toboggan takes a step back to recover. Toboggan misses with a body shot.
Mantis Toboggan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Van Veen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Toboggan has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Private Training Center in the buildup to the fight. Toboggan thows a leg kick but Van Veen checks it and Van Veen counters with a stiff right hand. Toboggan misses the shot to the body. Toboggan throws out a loose jab but Van Veen uses good head movement to avoid it. Toboggan lands a body shot.

Van Veen takes a swing at Toboggan's ribcage but misses. Toboggan throws a leg kick and Toboggan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Van Veen looks to land a left hand but Toboggan moved out of range nicely. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Toboggan throws an off balance right hand
and Van Veen counters with a straight right hand. Toboggan with a hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Toboggan pivots, looking for a leg kick but Van Veen is out of range and Toboggan settles back down. Toboggan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Van Veen manages to avoid it. Toboggan slips under a jab from Van Veen. Toboggan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Van Veen paws at him with a jab and circles away. Toboggan throws a lazy uppercut
and Van Veen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Toboggan is rocked! Toboggan misses with a hook
and Van Veen counters with a right hand from hell and Toboggan is out cold! A vicious knockout!
