Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Aslanyan (ranked 4381 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nassime Al Jamal (ranked 9400 p4p, 0 weight class). Nassime Al Jamal will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Jamal shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Aslanyan sprawls well. Aslanyan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Al Jamal gets slowly back to his feet.
Al Jamal tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Aslanyan swivels and escapes.
Al Jamal dives in and grabs Aslanyan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Aslanyan pushes down on Al Jamal's head and hops out.
Aslanyan attempts a counter takedown but Al Jamal avoids it well and moves away.
Arthur Aslanyan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nassime Al Jamal.

Al Jamal has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Aslanyan after a bit of a struggle.

Al Jamal throws a left and a right that both miss
and Aslanyan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Aslanyan rushes Al Jamal and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Al Jamal is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Al Jamal is looking to stand up but Aslanyan won't let him.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Al Jamal throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Al Jamal goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Aslanyan drives through and clinches with Al Jamal against the cage.
Al Jamal is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Aslanyan pulls him back up using the underhooks.

and Aslanyan counters with a good, hard body kick but Al Jamal shrugs it off.
