Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nico Amadeus (ranked 8378 p4p, 628 weight class) and Miles Bridges (ranked 8873 p4p, 646 weight class). Nico Amadeus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bridges tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Amadeus thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Bridges if he has to take too many more of those.
Amadeus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Amadeus fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bridges on the side of the head.

Amadeus misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Amadeus gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bridges to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Bridges throws a sloppy head kick and Amadeus moves out of range easily.

Bridges will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nico Amadeus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miles Bridges.
Amadeus darts in and clinches Bridges up against the cage.

Bridges steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Amadeus. That one must have hurt.
Bridges looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Amadeus is fending him off so far but Bridges persists. Nope, Amadeus circles away and we're back to standing.
