Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chase Morgan (ranked 4111 p4p, 486 weight class) and Bradford Forbes (ranked 2974 p4p, 392 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Morgan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Don't Waste My Time - Krept & Konan. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chase Morgan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bradford Forbes! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Forbes misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Morgan.
Forbes misses with a hook
and Morgan counters with a nice uppercut. Forbes misses with a hook. Chase Morgan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Forbes avoids the body shot from Morgan.
Morgan swings for the body but Forbes moves out of range.
Morgan works the jab nicely. Morgan on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Morgan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Forbes.
Morgan attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Forbes slips a jab from Morgan. Morgan closes the distance and pushes Forbes back into the cage. Forbes tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Forbes looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Forbes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Morgan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Forbes is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Morgan with a nice head shot there. Our spies down at at Bójka inform us that Forbes has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Morgan wants to control from the top but Forbes keeps moving. Morgan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Forbes has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Morgan has managed to get both his arms back between Forbes's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Morgan landing with the ground and pound. Morgan forces his way into half guard. Forbes actively working from the bottom here. Forbes looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Morgan is taking a breather. Forbes says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Forbes wants to get back to his feet.
Morgan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Forbes keeps working. Morgan sitting and controlling from the half guard. Forbes is looking to improve his position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Forbes takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. No joy there for Forbes, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Forbes throws a body punch but Morgan moves out of range. Morgan throws a big shot that misses. Forbes drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Morgan defends it well. Morgan wants to clinch up but Forbes keeps it at a distance. Forbes shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Morgan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Forbes drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Morgan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Forbes has Morgan in his guard.
Forbes is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Chase Morgan will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Forbes with the counter takedown but Morgan avoids it easily. Forbes misses with an uppercut. Morgan saw that one coming. Jab by Morgan.
It looks like Bradford Forbes has been cut. Morgan ducks right into an uppercut from Forbes. Morgan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Sloppy strikes from Morgan. Those never looked like landing. Nice uppercut there from Forbes. Morgan wants to clinch and Forbes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Morgan throws a jab but it's blocked by Forbes. Morgan moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Morgan moves forwards but Forbes connects with a nice, crisp jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Morgan missing with a left hand there. Forbes was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Forbes misses with the combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morgan is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Morgan works over Forbes's head and body with a nice combination. Forbes feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Morgans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Forbes lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Morgan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Forbes.
A low kick from Morgan misses and Forbes counters with a shoot takedown. Morgan fights it but they end up in guard. Morgan keeping moving, preventing Forbes from controlling successfully. Forbes postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Morgan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Forbes, into his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Morgan is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morgan has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Forbes to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Morgan is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Forbes pulls down on the head and he's put Morgan to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Bradford Forbes! Bradford Forbes seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
