Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Philip Farmery (ranked 454 p4p, 66 weight class) and Andrei Vasilevskiy (ranked 876 p4p, 122 weight class). Farmery comes into the arena with Bad Wolves-Zombie blaring out of the sound system. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrei Vasilevskiy! The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Ron Honeybunn and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice uppercut lands for Farmery. That snapped Vasilevskiy's head back.

Farmery lands with an uppercut that bounces Vasilevskiy off the cage and back into range. Vasilevskiy looks to score with a jab to the body but Farmery is just out of range. Farmery tries to bum rush Vasilevskiy with a series of wild strikes but Vasilevskiy uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Farmery lands a right hook to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Farmery shoots for a double leg takedown but Vasilevskiy sprawls well. He's pushed Farmery's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Farmery throws a shot from downtown. Vasilevskiy moves away and avoids it. Philip Farmery is winning the standup battle so far. Farmery takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Philip Farmery. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A punch combination from Farmery misses. Farmery throws a lazy head kick and Vasilevskiy counters with a crisp right hand that drops Farmery! Vasilevskiy lets Farmery back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Farmery changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vasilevskiy tries to avoid it but Farmery manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vasilevskiy to the ground. Vasilevskiy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Vasilevskiy measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Farmery! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
