Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Daren Wooten! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jonas Jackson! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wooten has Jackson up against the cage in a clinch.

Wooten is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Jackson is keeping busy. Jackson jumps guard but Wooten turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Jackson stops a takedown attempt from Wooten.

Wooten seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wooten leaning his opponent against the cage. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Daren Wooten. Jackson closes the distance and pushes Wooten back into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Jackson is defending well against a takedown attempt. Wooten tries to pull guard but Jackson won't allow it.

He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Wooten pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jackson tumbling to the mat - Wooten dives into Jackson's guard. Jackson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Wooten is looking to stand up but Jackson won't let him. Jackson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wooten is one step ahead there. Wooten wants to stand but Jackson is controlling his posture from full guard. Wooten working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wooten stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jackson swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Wooten drops back looking for a leg! Jackson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jackson manages to kick Wooten off! Wooten jumps back into Jackson's guard. Wooten preventing the sweep. Jackson thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Wooten with a flurry of punches that miss. Wooten tries to stand but Jackson is controlling from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jackson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jackson gets underhooks to prevent Wooten's takedown attempt.
Jackson is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Jackson jumps guard but Wooten turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Wooten ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Wooten no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Wooten wants to sweep here but Jackson controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooten is controlling Jackson's posture. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wooten tries to land a sweep but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daren Wooten dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Jackson counters with a left and a right that stings Wooten. Jackson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Jackson throws a right hand that Wooten ducks under and follows up with a left that Wooten also avoids with ease. Wooten swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Jackson closes the distance and clinches. Wooten tries to pull guard but Jackson won't allow it.
Wooten drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jackson gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Jackson shoots in but no luck this time. Wooten tries to counter by clinching up but Jackson breaks away and moves out of range. Daren Wooten is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jackson stuffs the takedown. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wooten. Jonas Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooten slaps away a takedown attempt from Jackson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Wooten seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Wooten displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jackson.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooten fails with a takedown attempt. Wooten shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jackson as he jumps to the side. Jackson darts in and clinches Wooten up against the cage. Jackson is trying to pull guard but Wooten turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jackson lands a hook to the side of the head. Wooten holding his opponent close, against the cage.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Wooten for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jonas Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jackson. Jackson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
It looks like Daren Wooten has been cut. Wooten dodges the punch combination from Jackson.

Wooten has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Daren Wooten overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Wooten is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Jackson wants to control from the top but Wooten keeps moving. Wooten is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jackson is aware though and is defending well. Wooten tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Jackson pulls out of a head kick attempt.

It looked like Wooten was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Wooten takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Jackson tries for a takedown but Wooten circles away easily and Wooten moves into the clinch. Daren Wooten has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonas Jackson. Jackson is trying to maintain a safe position but Wooten gets an underhook and turns Jackson into the cage. Jackson letting Wooten take a breather here. Jackson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Wooten just stands there and leans against the cage.

Jackson drives through and clinches with Wooten against the cage.

And that's the end of the fight! Jonas Jackson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jackson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
