Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nino Brown (ranked 2010 p4p, 196 weight class) and Predator Burns (ranked 802 p4p, 92 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by Yer Killin' Me- Remo Drive. Burns has chosen Jiu-Jitsu as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nino Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Predator Burns! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Lou da Vinci and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burns loads up on a big right hand but Brown slips the punch. Brown uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Burns. Brown takes a jab right on the kisser.
Brown tries to sprawl but Burns drives through with a takedown into half guard. Brown wants to stand back up but Burns manages to pass into side control.
Burns wants to control but Brown is keeping him busy. Burns creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Brown dodges the ground and pound from Burns. Burns misses with the ground and pound. Brown is not content to let Burns control the position. Brown tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burns trying to control the action but Brown is working from the bottom. Burns working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Burns cracks Brown with a big elbow. Burns throwing strikes but Brown manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Burns tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Brown wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Brown throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Brown thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Burns is trying to get back to half guard. Brown in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burns is trying to improve his position. Brown misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Brown throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Burns gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Brown throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Burns looking for submissions off his back. Brown scoring with strikes to the body and head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Burns is trying to get back to full guard. Burns looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Brown is working for a kimura but Burns is defending it quite comfortably.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burns keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Burns looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Nice strikes from Brown there. Burns wants to improve his position but Brown is controlling well.
Brown working over Burns with some ground and pound. Burns looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Burns has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Burns looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Brown is thwarting Burns's attempts to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown prevents Burns from improving his position. Burns looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Brown works his foot free and advances to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Burns tries to reverse the position but Brown maintains control. Burns wants to hold on but Brown pushes him away. Burns is wriggling around trying to escape.
Brown is in the full mount, landing strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nino Brown will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Brown just misses with a punch to the body.
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch but Burns swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Brown shoots in and drives through. Burns sprawls well. Burns connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Brown misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Burns.
Brown takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Burns scores with a takedown into Brown's guard. Burns preventing the sweep. Brown scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Brown throws a body punch but Burns moves out of range. Burns looks to land a right hand but Brown moved out of range. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brown on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Burns throws a lazy right hand but Brown sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Burns shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brown sprawls well. Brown wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Burns gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown moves in looking to clinch but Burns pushes him off. Burns waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Brown. Brown moves out of range of the strikes. Burns displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Brown. Burns lands a jab to the nose. Brown fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Burns gets caught napping as Brown dives in and scores a takedown. Burns manages to retain guard. Brown avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Brown missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Brown's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Brown trying to control but Burns is working from the bottom. Burns is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Brown rolls with it to try and escape but Burns cranks on the arm and Brown is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Predator Burns! In his post fight interview, Predator Burns gave a big smile as he said 'Lets do the Trilogy fight. Good fight Man.'.
