Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ravi Shankoli (ranked 449 p4p, 55 weight class) and Deez Nutzzzz (ranked 616 p4p, 79 weight class). Shankoli comes to the cage accompanied by Ravi Shankar - Om Shiva. Deez Nutzzzz told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
43 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Ravi Shankoli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Deez Nutzzzz!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nutzzzz misses with an uppercut.
Nutzzzz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shankoli moves away.
Nutzzzz slips a jab from Shankoli.
Shankoli blocks a jab.
Nutzzzz throws a jab but it's blocked by Shankoli.
Shankoli drops his hands momentarily and Nutzzzz takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Nutzzzz cracks Shankoli with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Shankoli has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Broken Halo's -Temple of Illumination in the buildup to the fight.
A shot to the body from Nutzzzz misses
and Shankoli counters with a two punch combo.
Nutzzzz throws the left hand but Shankoli avoids the punch easily.
Shankoli on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Nutzzzz. Nutzzzz obviously looking to wear him down.
Nutzzzz scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shankoli swinging wildly here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nutzzzz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A good leg kick by Nutzzzz.
Shankoli bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Deez Nutzzzz has been cut.
Shankoli throws out a loose jab but Nutzzzz uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nutzzzz misses with a left hand
and Shankoli counters with a right hand to the body.
Shankoli throws a jab but it's blocked by Nutzzzz.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Nutzzzz! But no joy.
Shankoli takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Shankoli misses with a looping right.
Nutzzzz misses with a left hand
and Shankoli counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Shankoli slips a straight right by Nutzzzz.
Shankoli throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nutzzzz.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nice defenses there by Shankoli.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nutzzzz lands with a kick to the ribs.
Shankoli has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Nutzzzz.
Nutzzzz jabs Shankoli to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Shankoli throws a right hand that misses
and Nutzzzz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Good work by Shankoli as he checks the leg kick.
Nutzzzz misses with an uppercut. Shankoli saw that one coming.
Shankoli takes one to the side of the head.
Nutzzzz changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Shankoli lands a left and a right that send Nutzzzz crashing to the mat, dazed. Shankoli thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Shankoli fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Nutzzzz, pushing him back against the cage.
Nutzzzz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Shankoli cracks Nutzzzz with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Nutzzzz is rocked!
Nutzzzz throws a poor cross that misses
and Shankoli counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Nutzzzz badly! Shankoli follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Nutzzzz out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Shankoli finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ravi Shankoli!
An intense looking Ravi Shankoli took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'His spirit was strong, but my intention was to crush him. Psychologically, as well as physically with my boxing. I knew that he would be a willing opponent, and he showed heart, but my soul wanted this more! I feel strongly against animal violence, but in this case taking the hammer to the panda wa'.
