PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sparky Anderson (ranked 418 p4p, 53 weight class) and Harold Shipman (ranked 1377 p4p, 175 weight class). Shipman has chosen Amazing as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harold Shipman!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shipman scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Shipman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Shipman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Anderson is looking to regain half guard here but Shipman keeps moving and retains side control.

Anderson gets tackled into the cage by Shipman. Shipman maintains the clinch.
Shipman has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Anderson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

During a confident post fight interview, Harold Shipman thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
