Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Skinner (ranked 25406 p4p, 0 weight class) and Watcher One (ranked 5949 p4p, 584 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Douglas Skinner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Watcher One! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! One misses with a few strikes there.
Skinner shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. One misses with a jab, cross combination.
Skinner looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. One drives through with a takedown into guard. One slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Skinner wants to stand and escape but One is having none of it. Skinner throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Skinner wants to sweep here but One controlling him for the moment. Skinner might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. One wants to control from the top but Skinner keeps moving. Skinner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. One chips away with some ground and pound. One stopping the sweep attempt from Skinner. Skinner throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Skinner wants to sweep here but One controlling him for the moment. One looking to sit in guard and control but Skinner gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Skinner won't allow One to sweep him here. One really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Skinner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. One is trying to control the position but Skinner postures up. Skinner trying to stand up but can't free himself from One's guard. Skinner throws a big right hand that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skinner postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Skinner is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. One wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Skinner is now in half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. One blocking the ground and pound attempt from Skinner.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Skinner seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Skinner is thwarting One's attempts to control the position. Skinner working over One with some ground and pound. One looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. One on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. One trying to control here.
One looks winded! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Skinner content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Douglas Skinner dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
One tries to bum rush Skinner with a series of wild strikes but Skinner uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Skinner changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. One has closed the distance and engaged Skinner in a clinch.
Skinner is trying to pull guard but One turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. One manages to break the clinch.
One just misses with a punch to the body.
A swing and a miss from One. Skinner shoots for a double leg takedown but One sprawls well. He's pushed Skinner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Skinner clinches up against the cage. Skinner is trying to pull guard but One has him pressed against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Douglas Skinner. That's going to take a lot out of him. One tries to score a body lock takedown but Skinner shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

One darts in looking for a takedown but Skinner gets double underhooks and turns One into the cage. One shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Skinner sprawls well. Skinner wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. One gets slowly back to his feet. One is breathing heavily. Skinner wants to clinch. Skinner leaves One with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Skinner wants to clinch and One counters with a two punch combo. One throws a head kick but Skinner moves out of range.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Skinner stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Skinner wants it to stay on the feet. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from One. Skinner looks for a takedown but One sprawls well. One tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Skinner fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Skinner closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into One's guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Skinner's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Skinner is in close to One's body, working some short punches and elbows.

That was a close second round but I would say that Douglas Skinner will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Skinner postures up and lands a big shot to One's brow. One has momentary wrist control but Skinner slips an elbow through the middle. Skinner throws a big elbow that misses. Skinner's corner is telling him to maintain position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Skinner in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. One working a defensive guard but Skinner passes into half guard.
One takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skinner throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. One throws a strike from the bottom but Skinner passes into side control!
A control attempt from One but he's now mounted! Skinner takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. One is desperately trying to improve his position but Skinner has a good base and remains in mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Skinner raining down hammerfists from mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Skinner cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Skinner lands a heavy elbow. Skinner is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. One can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Watcher One has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Douglas Skinner is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Skinner tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! Douglas Skinner showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Skinner, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
