Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thomas Raske!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tyson Pearson!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raske swings for the body but Pearson moves out of range.
Raske takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Pearson lands with a nice combination. Raske backs away looking to recover.
Pearson dips to his left and cracks Raske with an uppercut!
Pearson throws a right and a left that Raske avoids nicely.
We've been told by Raske's head coaches at Aspire Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Pearson sizes up Raske with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Raske's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pearson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Raske scrambles back to his feet.

Pearson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Raske paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The fight stays on the outside here - Pearson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pearson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pearson might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
