Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lavar Ball (ranked 641 p4p, 21 weight class) and Gunnar Steigelmann (ranked 584 p4p, 32 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steigelmann has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Gunnar Steigelmann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ball displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Steigelmann throws out the jab.

Ball connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Steigelmann momentarily.

Steigelmann has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Steigelmann connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
