Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Apollo Reid (ranked 3092 p4p, 354 weight class) and Mickey Diaz (ranked 3286 p4p, 376 weight class). Reid's entrance music is Living in America by James Brown. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mickey Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

We've been told by Reid's head coaches at Doherty's Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Diaz takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
