Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hades Anderson (ranked 1159 p4p, 161 weight class) and Sam McCullen (ranked 1502 p4p, 200 weight class). Sam McCullen will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hades Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Sam McCullen! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Anderson lunges at McCullen with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by McCullen's hand.
It looks like Sam McCullen has been cut. McCullen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Anderson. McCullen ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Anderson getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Anderson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. McCullen misses with an uppercut
and McCullen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Hades Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fighters circling - Anderson throws out the jab but it was never going to land. McCullen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McCullen avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Anderson jabs McCullen right on the nose. McCullen blinks but takes it well. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Anderson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches McCullen on the side of the head. Anderson throws a lazy uppercut
and McCullen counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Anderson thinking. McCullen slips under a jab. McCullen looking to land some kicks to the body here.

A little feinted left hand from Anderson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. McCullen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Anderson moves away. Anderson misses with a hook. McCullen ducked under it nicely. A head kick misses from McCullen. McCullen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A slow jab from Anderson misses its intended target. Anderson throws a big shot that misses. Anderson misses with a left hand and McCullen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. McCullen throws out a loose jab but Anderson uses good head movement to avoid it. A jab from Anderson misses. Anderson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
McCullen ducks under a wild hook from Anderson. McCullen is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Anderson with a body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A cross from Anderson lands. Anderson avoids a punch combination nicely.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Anderson misses with a shot to the body and McCullen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. McCullen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Anderson sees it coming and avoids it easily. Anderson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. McCullen will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

and McCullen counters with a left to the body. McCullen slips a jab from Anderson. McCullen replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Anderson blocks it well. McCullen lands with a cross. McCullen takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

McCullen doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. McCullen connects with a leg kick. Anderson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. McCullen slips a jab from Anderson. McCullen looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. McCullen keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Anderson. Anderson throws a hook but McCullen blocks it. McCullen throws a shot from downtown. Anderson moves away and avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Anderson misses with a wild body shot. Sloppy strikes from McCullen. Those never looked like landing. Sam McCullen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Anderson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from McCullen. Anderson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Nice cross by McCullen. Anderson throws a poor cross that misses
and McCullen counters with a stiff right hand. Jab from Anderson. Anderson throws a nice looking combination but McCullen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. McCullen throws a hook but Anderson avoids it easily. Anderson throws a jab when McCullen was well out of range. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Anderson throws a lazy uppercut
and McCullen counters with an inside leg kick. McCullen misses with a jab to the body
and Anderson counters with a lovely straight right hand! McCullen tries to bum rush Anderson with a series of wild strikes but Anderson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Anderson looks to score with a jab to the body but McCullen is just out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Hades Anderson will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Sam McCullen's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

and McCullen counters with a crisp one two that drops Anderson! McCullen thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Anderson to his feet! Anderson is in big trouble!

and McCullen makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Oh Anderson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! McCullen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Anderson. McCullen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Anderson seems to have got his legs back now. A punch combination from McCullen misses. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Anderson on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Anderson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McCullen finds it's way round the side to connect with Anderson's head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Anderson throws the left hand but McCullen avoids the punch easily. McCullen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Anderson on the side of the head. Anderson throws a jab but it's blocked by McCullen. A punch combination from McCullen misses. McCullen misses with a leg kick and Anderson counters with a straight right hand. Anderson just misses with a punch to the body.

and McCullen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. McCullen lands a big uppercut and Anderson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Anderson looks OK. McCullen waves Anderson back to his feet! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McCullen cracks Anderson on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Anderson falls backwards against the cage. McCullen follows up with more strikes that drop Anderson to his knees. McCullen keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Anderson! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sam McCullen! Sam McCullen decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
