Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Alistair Verhoeven (ranked 5260 p4p, 98 weight class) and Benjamin Bittaker (ranked 8847 p4p, 136 weight class). Bittaker comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Tech N9ne Disfunctional kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Benjamin Bittaker looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verhoeven throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Benjamin Bittaker has been cut.
Verhoeven avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Verhoeven tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Bittaker manages to circle out of the way.
Bittaker throws out a leg kick but Verhoeven moves out of range and Bittaker only half commits.

Verhoeven clips Bittaker with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Bittaker a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.

Verhoeven misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Verhoeven fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bittaker.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Verhoeven creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Verhoeven tries to bum rush Bittaker with a series of wild strikes but Bittaker uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Verhoeven wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

and Verhoeven counters with a left and a right that stings Bittaker.

Bittaker fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Verhoeven has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Bittaker moves in looking to clinch but Verhoeven pushes him off.

Bittaker has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Verhoeven seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Bittaker can turn it around.
