The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and William Gold.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Araujo throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Drakov tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Araujo is in Drakov's guard.

Araujo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Drakov keeping moving, preventing Araujo from controlling successfully.

Drakov working for a triangle but Araujo defends it easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Araujo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Drakov sees it coming and defends easily.

Drakov looking for subs off his back but Araujo has passed one foot through into half guard.

Drakov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Araujo pulls his head out easily.

Araujo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Araujo seems to be looking for submissions.

Araujo wants to free his trapped foot but Drakov is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Drakov is looking to improve his position.

Drakov looking for a kimura from the bottom but Araujo passes into side control!

Araujo manages to capitalize on a mistake by Drakov to take his back!

Araujo controlling well, preventing Drakov from escaping the position.

Araujo has got one arm under Drakov's chin. This could be trouble... Drakov trying to control the other hand but Araujo gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Drakov has tapped out! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Luiz Araujo!
