Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack White (ranked 6044 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Aliev (ranked 25800 p4p, 0 weight class). Albert Aliev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jack White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Albert Aliev!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Sergei Dronov and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aliev misses with a takedown attempt - White sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

White gets in close and instigates a clinch.

White breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
White shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Aliev pinned against the cage. Aliev gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
White fails with the takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
White has his takedown stuffed
and Aliev counters with a lovely straight right hand!

White's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Aliev counters with a lovely shot to the body.
White dives in for a single leg takedown but Aliev sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Aliev fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but White avoids it really well and circles away.
Aliev shoots in for a double leg but White sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
White gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Aliev counters with a series of strikes. White will be more careful next time no doubt.
Aliev stuffs the takedown attempt from White. White gets slowly back to his feet.
Aliev is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

An inside leg kick from Aliev misses.
Aliev uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before White has time to react.

White jumps guard and drags Aliev to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

White escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Aliev gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as White holds on and takes a little breather.
White bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Aliev's guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
White seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Aliev for as long as he can get away with.
Aliev wants to sweep here but White controlling him for the moment.
Aliev utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack White will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

White tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Aliev defends well and White ends up having to push Aliev into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

White moves into range and clinches up with Aliev.

White pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
White shoots in looking for a takedown. Aliev tries to sprawl out of it but White keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Aliev manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Aliev is looking for the big counter here.

White has closed the distance and engaged Aliev in a clinch.

White drags the fight down to the ground.
Aliev really doesn't want to stay on the ground with White. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
White seems keen to control Aliev's posture.
White manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Aliev manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Aliev avoiding damage under a succession of punches from White.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Aliev bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of White's head.
Aliev misses with an attempted mid kick.

White has managed to clinch.

White ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. White no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

White throws a nice looking combination but Aliev bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

White digs a right hand into Aliev's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Aliev's gas tank.
Aliev jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as White walks away with a smile on his face. Aliev gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

White is trying to trip Aliev. He has hold of a leg but Aliev is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. White persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

White has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Aliev fails with a takedown attempt.
White keeps the fight on the outside.

White changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Aliev tries to avoid it but White manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Aliev to the ground. Aliev escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
White darts in looking for a takedown but Aliev gets double underhooks and turns White into the cage.
White shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Aliev sprawls well. Aliev wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. White gets slowly back to his feet.

White moves into the clinch successfully.
Aliev has White pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. White manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
White is working for takedown but Aliev is calmly controlling the position for now.
White is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Aliev can do to turn this around?

White decides to pull guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now White is on top in guard.

White passes the guard and advances to mount!

White looking for a guillotine from mount but Aliev is having none of it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
White avoids the attempt from Aliev to control.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jack White showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for White, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
