Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Third Round Romero (ranked 2767 p4p, 62 weight class) and Ed Driver (ranked 1205 p4p, 30 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Third Round Romero! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Ed Driver! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Romero closes the distance and clinches. Romero has a couple of punches blocked by Driver.

Driver lands a hook to the side of the head. Driver blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Romero obliges. A short right from Romero on the inside. Romero missing with knees to the body.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Romero creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Driver pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Driver tries to clinch up but Romero circles away and keeps his distance. Driver checks a leg kick. The fight moves into the clinch position. Romero lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Driver. Romero misses with a short punch on the inside. Romero misses with a short punch on the inside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Driver wants to get back to striking at distance but Romero won't allow it.
Driver is trying to break the clinch but Romero has him pressed against the ropes. Driver is trying to break free. Driver tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Romero avoids it. Romero misses with a hook from the clinch. Driver wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Romero has him pressed against the ropes. Romero goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

A head punch on the inside from Romero fails to land. Romero lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Driver backwards. Romero misses with a hook from the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Both guys are working to get underhooks. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Romero. With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Romero creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Romero lands a shoulder strike. Romero swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Driver has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Romero throws a head punch that misses. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Driver as Romero tries to tie him up. Romero throws a punch but it's blocked by Driver. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Romero softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Romero takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Driver misses with an elbow over the top. Romero gets through Driver's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Driver is trying to break free. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Third Round Romero dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Romero pushes Driver up against the ropes in a clinch. Romero misses with a short punch on the inside. Driver wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Romero has him pressed against the ropes. Romero tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Romero misses with a short punch on the inside. Romero tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Driver blocks an uppercut.
Driver's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Driver tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Driver keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Driver moves out of range as Romero throws a body kick.
Romero looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Romero throws a low kick, looking for Driver's leg but Driver calmly moves out of range. Driver now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Ed Driver is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Romero shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Romero wants to clinch. Romero misses with a shot to the body and Driver counters with a two punch combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Romero fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Driver manages to avoid it. Romero misses with an uppercut
and Driver counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Third Round Romero has been cut. Driver takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Third Round Romero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Romero scores with a punch to the head. Driver stuns Romero with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Driver walks into a straight right hand from Romero. An inside leg kick from Driver misses. Driver tries a head kick but it misses.
Romero is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Driver can do to turn this around? Driver has closed the distance and engaged Romero in a clinch.

A head punch on the inside from Romero fails to land. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Driver is trying to maintain a safe position but Romero gets an underhook and turns Driver into the ropes. Driver is trying to force a seperation but Romero has the dominant position.

Romero keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Driver's efforts to push away. Driver blocks an uppercut.

Romero tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Driver's elbow. Driver will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Romero up against the ropes. Romero fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Driver breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Romero works Driver's body with a nice hook. Driver tries to close the distance and clinch but Romero swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Romero forces Driver back against the ropes and clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Third Round Romero dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Third Round Romero's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Romero connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Driver's hands. Driver will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Driver throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Driver on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Driver throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A slow jab from Driver misses its intended target. Driver clinches up with Romero and pushes him back against the ropes. Driver blocking some punches.
Romero pushes Driver back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. Romero prevents Driver from breaking the clinch. Romero lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Romero struggles to land a body shot inside as Driver controls his hands.

Driver tries to circle away but Romero has him pinned against the ropes. Driver stalling in the clinch but Romero improves position. Romero can't find room to land a body shot as Driver controls the action.

Third Round Romero is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Romero staggers Driver with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Driver looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!
Driver is rocked! Romero knocks out Driver with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Romero before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Romero picks up the big W with a huge KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Third Round Romero! After the fight, Third Round Romero was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
