Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Que Jackman!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
N Chicken lands with a kick to the temple. Jackman shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Jackman clinches.
N Chicken misses with a punch on the inside.
N Chicken misses with a shot to the kidneys.
N Chicken misses with a hook from the clinch.

Jackman manages to break the clinch.
Jackman doesn't manage to clinch there - N Chicken circles away.
N Chicken throws a sloppy head kick

and Jackman counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jackman.
N Chicken misses with a body punch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Jackman.
N Chicken tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jackman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
N Chicken lands with a thumping leg kick.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

N Chicken lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jackman's sensitive parts.

An inside leg kick lands from N Chicken.
Jackman takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Jackman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jackman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but N Chicken circles away quickly and effectively.
N Chicken thinks about countering with a body kick.

N Chicken can't find room to land a body shot as Jackman controls the action.

N Chicken throws a head kick that half lands.
N Chicken fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jackman.
Jackman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and N Chicken counters with a slapping leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!

N Chicken tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jackman's elbow.

Jackman is struggling to control the position.

Jackman is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Jackman takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

N Chicken swings wildly with an uppercut but Jackman uses good head movement to avoid it.
N Chicken tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jackman's elbow.
Que Jackman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jackman tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and N Chicken avoids it.

And that's the end of the fight!
Cakes N Chicken showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for N Chicken, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
