Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Woo Taehyung Kim (ranked 25839 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Aslanyan (ranked 3019 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Woo Taehyung Kim has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Woo Taehyung Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Arthur Aslanyan!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim tries to clinch there but Aslanyan circles away.

Aslanyan has Kim up against the cage in a clinch.
Aslanyan comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Aslanyan prevents a takedown attempt there.
Aslanyan's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Kim tries to pull guard but Aslanyan holds him up against the cage and eventually Kim drops back down to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Aslanyan keeping moving, preventing Kim from controlling successfully.
Aslanyan wants to sweep here but Kim controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Aslanyan has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Kim trying to control but Aslanyan is working from the bottom.
Kim throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Aslanyan works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Kim postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Aslanyan wants to sweep here but Kim controlling him for the moment.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Aslanyan wants to stand and escape but Kim is having none of it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
A head kick by Kim misses
and Aslanyan counters with a three punch combo that has Kim backing up. Kim nods at Aslanyan to acknowledge the strikes.
Aslanyan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Kim wants to clinch up but Aslanyan keeps it at a distance.

Kim wants to control but Aslanyan passes easily into half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kim is working hard here to advance position.

Aslanyan has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Kim.

Aslanyan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Aslanyan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kim on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Aslanyan wants to stand up but Kim has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Aslanyan is continuing to stall.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Arthur Aslanyan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Nice takedown defense from Aslanyan. No joy for Kim on that attempt.

Aslanyan ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Aslanyan no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Aslanyan seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Kim has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Aslanyan is on top in guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Aslanyan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kim doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kim manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Aslanyan holds on and takes a little breather.
Aslanyan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kim manages to get himself to full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Aslanyan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Aslanyan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Kim looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Aslanyan has picked Kim up and slammed him! Kim can't keep hold of the triangle and Aslanyan manages to pass to side control!

And that's the end of the fight!
Arthur Aslanyan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Aslanyan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
