Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Omani Jaryoki (ranked 7620 p4p, 281 weight class) and James Williams (ranked 6948 p4p, 269 weight class). James Williams is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Omani Jaryoki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Williams! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams misses with a double jab
and Jaryoki counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Williams looking for submissions off his back. Jaryoki prevents Williams from improving his position. Williams is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jaryoki scores with a couple of nice shots. Jaryoki could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Williams looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Jaryoki decides to stand up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jaryoki throws a head kick but Williams moves out of range.
Williams tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Jaryoki counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Williams is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Jaryoki sitting in guard, not really doing much. Jaryoki's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Williams is looking for a triangle here but Jaryoki uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Williams tries to buck Jaryoki off but Jaryoki is having none of it. Jaryoki lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Williams down.
Williams wants to control but Jaryoki postures up. Williams is looking to reverse the position. A big shot lands for Jaryoki! That's hurt Williams! Will he recover? Jaryoki fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Omani Jaryoki!
