Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Russel Crowe (ranked 9018 p4p, 646 weight class) and John Wall (ranked 4703 p4p, 482 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Russel Crowe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Wall! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crowe doesn't succeed with the takedown and Wall counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Crowe with a poor takedown and Wall counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Crowe shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wall as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Russel Crowe. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sloppy strikes from Crowe. Those never looked like landing. The fight moves into the clinch position. Crowe wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Wall fails to land. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wall lands a nice uppercut. Wall working aggressively here.
Wall is pressed up against the cage. Crowe has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wall down to the mat. Wall avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Crowe gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wall counters with a crisp right hand that drops Crowe! Wall lets Crowe back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Crowe is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Wall clinches with his opponent.
Oh Crowe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A nice right hand lands inside from Wall. Wall lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Wall lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Crowe or not. Wall creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Crowe's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Crowe drops to his knees and Wall pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Wall!
