Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Spas Spasov (ranked 5979 p4p, 550 weight class) and Joshua Brown (ranked 6448 p4p, 568 weight class). Brown has chosen Hail Mary Tupac as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spasov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Brown circles away.
Brown scores with a takedown into Spasov's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Spasov is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Brown trying to control but Spasov is working from the bottom.
Brown tries to free his leg and advance position but Spasov is retaining full guard.
Brown slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Spasov is looking to reverse the position.

Brown wants to control but Spasov is keeping him busy.
Brown has an Americana. Spasov didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Brown is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Brown hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Joshua Brown!
In his post fight interview, Joshua Brown started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
