Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jc Cobb (ranked 25808 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Stroev (ranked 6084 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stroev shoots in and bounces Cobb off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Cobb controls Stroev momentarily but Stroev frees himself.
Cobb pulls Stroev in close to prevent any damage.
Stroev throws a big elbow that misses.
Cobb being controlled here, momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cobb really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Cobb looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Stroev throws a strike but Cobb rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Stroev wants to get back to his feet but Cobb is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Cobb is looking to stand up but Stroev won't let him.
Cobb won't allow Stroev to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stroev is striking from the bottom but Cobb uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Stroev trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Cobb manages to pass to mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stroev tries to reverse the position but Cobb maintains control.
Cobb will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

You can see the frustration on Stroev's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
