Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bruno Javier Jimenez!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimenez pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Johnson gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Jimenez fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Johnson has Jimenez pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Johnson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jimenez tumbling to the mat - Johnson dives into Jimenez's guard.
Jimenez controls Johnson momentarily but Johnson frees himself.

Jimenez throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Johnson escapes and throws Jimenez's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Johnson is putting a hurting on Jimenez here, landing some big shots from side control.
It looks like Bruno Javier Jimenez has been cut.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson lands a strong strike to the head of Jimenez. That's dazed him! Johnson looking to finish here. Jimenez is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Johnson lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
