Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Boris Zhivago (ranked 2353 p4p, 259 weight class) and Leo Leka (ranked 1543 p4p, 184 weight class). Zhivago comes to the cage accompanied by Cold as Ice. Leka has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. Leo Leka has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Boris Zhivago's chin.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhivago misses with a low kick.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Leka has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Zhivago lands a nice shot to the body.
Zhivago uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Leka.
Leka misses with a low kick.
Zhivago avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Zhivago moves into range and clinches up with Leka.

Leka shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Zhivago eats them both and turns towards Leka to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Leka tries to land a front kick but Zhivago steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leka is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Leka might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Zhivago haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Zhivago is pressed up against the cage. Leka has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Zhivago down to the mat. Zhivago avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Leka's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Zhivago with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Leka to score with a decent uppercut.
Leka takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Leka lands a nice shot that snaps Zhivago's head back.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Boris Zhivago.
I think Zhivago has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
