With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rei Kolton!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King darts in trying to clinch
and Kolton counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps King thinking.
King fails in his attempt to clinch.
It seemed like Kolton was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
King swinging wildly here.
Kolton lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

King clinches up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

King wants to get back to striking at distance but Kolton won't allow it.

Kolton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but King manages to avoid it.
King went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
King shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kolton pinned against the cage. Kolton gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
King lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kolton circles away quickly and effectively.
A nice side step and Kolton releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Kolton scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
King slips under a jab.
Kolton scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
King shoots for a double leg takedown but Kolton sprawls well. He's pushed King's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kolton swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kolton lands a nice shot that snaps King's head back.

King closes the distance and clinches.
Kolton tried to land a shot to the body but connects with King's elbow.

King wants to take the fight to the mat but Kolton manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
King fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kolton avoids it really well and circles away.

King connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kolton momentarily.

Kolton breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
King shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
King doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kolton cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

King changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kolton looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kolton can do anything to dispel that myth.
