Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jaylon Figures (ranked 5092 p4p, 521 weight class) and John Sullivan (ranked 4433 p4p, 474 weight class). Figures comes to the cage accompanied by Standing in the rain. This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Figures fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sullivan manages to avoid it.
Figures tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sullivan was well out of range. Poor timing from Figures.
Sullivan throws a counter combo.
Sullivan swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Figures tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Sullivan manages to circle out of the way.
Sullivan throws the kick towards the body but Figures avoids it.

Sullivan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Figures.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sullivan wants to stand and escape but Figures is having none of it.

Sullivan stalks Figures and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Figures's face. Figures staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Jaylon Figures has been cut.

Sullivan lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Figures crumples to the floor! Sullivan milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Jaylon Figures was interviewed post fight and said 'Tonight i did not plan to fail, but every failure in my life will help me get better as a fighter.'.
