Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brutus Leagatius (ranked 786 p4p, 87 weight class) and Quinton Randleman (ranked 1771 p4p, 206 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brutus Leagatius! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Quinton Randleman! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leagatius connects with the punch. Good exchange - Randleman coming out on top. Randleman displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Leagatius throws a hook to the side of Randleman's head but Randleman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Leagatius works the jab nicely.
It looks like Quinton Randleman has been cut. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Randleman. Leagatius is looking to counter with head kicks. Leagatius scores with a leg kick.
Randleman misses with a body shot
and Leagatius cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Leagatius lands a big head kick that sends Randleman tumbling to the mat! Leagatius takes a step backwards and waves Randleman back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Randleman is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Randleman misses with an uppercut. Leagatius saw that one coming. Randleman looks to score with a jab to the body but Leagatius is just out of range. It looked like Leagatius was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Randleman steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Leagatius.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leagatius ducks right into an uppercut from Randleman. A big right from Randleman misses. Randleman throws a shot from downtown. Leagatius moves away and avoids it. Randleman misses with an uppercut. Leagatius saw that one coming. Leagatius cracks the inside of Randleman's front leg. Randleman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Leagatius was well out of range. Poor timing from Randleman. Randleman takes a jab right on the kisser.
Leagatius has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Crassus in the buildup to the fight. Randleman tries to clinch but Leagatius is having none of it. Leagatius is looking for a counter combo. Leagatius misses with the combination.
Randleman takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Randleman looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Randleman shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Leagatius manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Randleman engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Leagatius controlling the position. Leagatius avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Leagatius trying to keep a closed guard but Randleman is proving a slippery customer.
Randleman trying to control but Leagatius is working from the bottom. Randleman postures up in Leagatius's guard and throws a big left but Leagatius blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Randleman wants to control from the top but Leagatius keeps moving.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Leagatius lands with a nice body punch. Randleman slips a straight right by Leagatius. Leagatius takes a body punch but keeps moving. A combination from Randleman does no damage. Randleman doesn't succeed with the takedown and Leagatius moves into the clinch. Randleman misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Leagatius tries to work over Randleman's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Leagatius pushes Randleman back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Leagatius tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Leagatius pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Randleman scores with a shot to the body.
Leagatius is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Randleman ducks under a wild hook from Leagatius. Brutus Leagatius is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Randleman lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Leagatius throws a poor cross that misses
and Randleman counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Crunch! Leagatius slams his shin into Randleman's torso. Randleman misses the shot to the body. Leagatius gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Randleman moves out of range of the strikes. Leagatius slaps away a takedown attempt from Randleman, before circling back to the center of the mat. Brutus Leagatius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quinton Randleman. Randleman keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Leagatius. Despite the aggression on Randleman's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brutus Leagatius dominated that round. The cut man is working on Quinton Randleman's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Leagatius attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Leagatius moves out of range of the strikes. Leagatius misses with an uppercut. Leagatius throws a body punch but Randleman moves out of range. Leagatius swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Leagatius is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Randleman can do to turn this around? Leagatius on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Leagatius ducks right into an uppercut from Randleman. Leagatius connects with a jab. Randleman lands a lovely overhand right. Brutus Leagatius is winning the standup battle so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leagatius gets caught napping as Randleman dives in and scores a takedown. Leagatius manages to retain guard. Randleman looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Randleman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Randleman is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Randleman trying to control but Leagatius is working from the bottom. Randleman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Leagatius swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Randleman sitting in guard here, content to control. Leagatius is trying to control the position but Randleman postures up.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Sloppy strikes from Leagatius. Those never looked like landing. Leagatius walks into a straight right hand from Randleman. Randleman keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Randleman changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Horrible takedown attempt by Randleman or perhaps it was just good defense by Leagatius, which made it look bad. Randleman just misses with a punch to the body.
Randleman lands a nice shot that snaps Leagatius's head back.
Leagatius cracks Randleman with a good jab. A big right from Leagatius misses. A slow jab from Leagatius misses its intended target. Randleman with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Leagatius to score with a decent uppercut. Quinton Randleman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Randleman tries to break free but Leagatius pushes him back against the cage. Leagatius looking to stall.
Leagatius scores with a nice hook to the head. Randleman makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
It looks like Brutus Leagatius has been cut. Randleman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Randleman fails to land the takedown. Randleman moves out of range as Leagatius strikes. The fighters circle momentarily. Randleman darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Randleman is looking to clinch. Randleman fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Leagatius to the ground. Randleman is now in Leagatius's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Randleman showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Randleman throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Randleman controls from within his opponent's guard. Leagatius keeping moving, preventing Randleman from controlling successfully. Leagatius is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Randleman throwing strikes from guard but Leagatius blocks nicely. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Quinton Randleman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Randleman lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Randleman looks to land a combination but Leagatius avoids it well. Randleman shoots for a double leg takedown but Leagatius sprawls well. He's pushed Randleman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Brutus Leagatius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quinton Randleman. Leagatius walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Randleman looks for a takedown but Leagatius sprawls well. Randleman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Leagatius's guard. Leagatius will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Randleman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Leagatius works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Randleman loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Randleman trying to control but Leagatius is working from the bottom. Leagatius on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Leagatius tries to get out of the position. Randleman looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Quinton Randleman! In his post fight interview, Quinton Randleman started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
