Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Freddie Mercury!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Joseph Jones and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mercury scores with a head kick. Kay tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Kay fails with the takedown
and Mercury counters with a nice uppercut.
Mercury throws a nice outside leg kick.
Freddie Mercury seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mercury throws a quick inside leg kick.
Mercury wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Mercury throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kay's head.
Mercury connects with a body shot that sends Kay's belly button to the back.
Both fighters circling a little - Mercury finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kay is defended easily by Mercury.
Kay shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mercury pinned against the cage. Mercury gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brandon Kay. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fighters circle momentarily. Mercury darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Mercury works Kay's body with a nice hook.

Kay misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Mercury scores with a sloppy right hand. Kay should have avoided that one.

Kay definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A punch lands to the side of Kay 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kay is rocked!
Mercury drops Kay with a naaaaasty hook - Kay is in real trouble here! Mercury dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Freddie Mercury!
After the fight, Freddie Mercury was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
