And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Dean Corll!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corll lands a leg kick that knocks The Perfectionist off balance momentarily.
We've been hearing reports that The Perfectionist has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

The Perfectionist closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Corll quickly recovers to half guard.
Corll wants to stand back up but The Perfectionist manages to pass into side control.
The Perfectionist prevents Corll from escaping the position.
The Perfectionist tries to advance to mount but Corll denies him.
The Perfectionist creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
The Perfectionist looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Corll is avoiding damage well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The Perfectionist is putting a hurting on Corll here, landing some big shots from side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Perfectionist seems to be looking for submissions.
The Perfectionist prevents Corll from standing back up.
Corll tries to kick The Perfectionist off in order to stand up. The Perfectionist Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

The Perfectionist thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The strikes coming from The Perfectionist are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Corll is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, The Perfectionist asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Corll throws a low kick but The Perfectionist avoids it.

Corll looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Corll throws a head kick that misses.
The Perfectionist blocks a jab.
Corll misses with a head kick.
Corll swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
The Perfectionist swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dean Corll seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Perfectionist throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
The Perfectionist throws a quick inside leg kick.
Donk. Corll catches The Perfectionist right on the button with a cross.
Corll lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as The Perfectionist backs up against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The Perfectionist misses with a looping left.
Dean Corll is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The Perfectionist tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The Perfectionist looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
The Perfectionist cracks a nice hook into Corll's ribs.
The Perfectionist sizes up Corll with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Corll gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows The Perfectionist to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The Perfectionist looking to sit in guard and control but Corll gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The Perfectionist looking for a triangle here. Corll is fighting it but it looks tight! The Perfectionist pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Corll is tapping out - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). AJ The Perfectionist!
A very excited looking AJ The Perfectionist rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
