Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Paul Abott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manoel Victorine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Victorine shoots in but no luck this time. Abott has his takedown stuffed and Victorine counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Victorine decides to pull guard. Abott makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Abott trying to control but Victorine is working from the bottom. Victorine looking for a guillotine here but Abott defends easily.
Abott controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Victorine has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Victorine not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Abott will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abott trying to control but Victorine is working from the bottom. Abott prevents Victorine from getting back to his feet. Victorine looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Victorine is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Victorine manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Abott is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Abott tries to lock up and control but Victorine gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Victorine unloading with bombs! Abott wants to hold on but Victorine pushes him away. Abott swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Abott has given up his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Abott is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Victorine has good solid back control here. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Abott is in bad spot here.
I would not like to be Abott right now.
Victorine not allowing Abott to control his hands. Abott knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Victorine on the ground. Abott is breathing heavily. Abott wants to escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Victorine is riding his opponent, not letting Abott buck him off. Victorine is working the ground and pound. Can Abott escape? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Abott controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Victorine gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Victorine is not going to allow Abott to sit and survive in this position. Victorine is trying to stick to Abott's back but Abott is turning into Victorine. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Victorine's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Abott. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Abott trying to control the position from guard on top but Victorine is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Manoel Victorine dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Victorine shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Victorine was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Victorine controlling from mount. Abott in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Abott is desperately trying to improve his position but Victorine has a good base and remains in mount. Victorine should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Victorine controlling the pace for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abott working to try and regain half guard.
Abott wants to hold on but Victorine pushes him away. A nice elbow there by Victorine. Abott taking shots to the head. Victorine controlling the position easily from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Abott is bucking up trying to escape but Victorine cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Victorine working the ground and pound effectively.
Abott keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Victorine landing shots from mount. Victorine stands up from mount. Strange move. Victorine with a poor takedown and Abott counters with a takedown into side control. Victorine is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Abott avoids the strikes from the bottom by Victorine. Abott controlling from side mount. Abott goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Victorine has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Abott but great work by Victorine.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Abott tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Victorine presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Abott is looking to get to half guard. Abott is bucking up trying to escape but Victorine cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Victorine lands a big elbow. Victorine with shots to the head and body - Abott looks very uncomfortable down there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Manoel Victorine showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Victorine wants to clinch. Victorine throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Abott defending well as Victorine loads up on a big left hand. Nice defenses there by Victorine. Victorine tries to clinch but Abott moves out of range. Paul Abott is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Abott gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Victorine counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Abott's guard now. Abott being controlled here, momentarily. Victorine wants to control from the top but Abott keeps moving. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Victorine postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Victorine stays in close to Abott's body and controls the position. Victorine looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Victorine trying to control the position from guard on top but Abott is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Victorine gets to his feet. Abott looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Abott doesn't succeed with the takedown and Victorine counters with a leg kick. Victorine throws a sloppy head kick and Abott moves out of range easily. Abott with a poor takedown and Victorine counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Abott! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Abott. That's going to take a lot out of him. Abott wants to control but Victorine is having none of it. Victorine prevents Abott from getting the reversal.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Victorine putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Victorine prevents Abott from getting the reversal. Abott is just holding on here. Victorine manages to take his back.

Victorine trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Abott doesn't escape. Victorine avoiding Abott 's attempts to control his hands. Victorine is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! Manoel Victorine comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Victorine winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
