Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Thompson (ranked 8068 p4p, 653 weight class) and Danny Greene (ranked 4925 p4p, 499 weight class). The key to victory for Kevin Thompson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson throws a nice looking combination but Greene bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Thompson misses with a two punch combination.
Greene throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Thompson on the side of the head.
It looks like Kevin Thompson has been cut.
Greene has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Thompson is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Greene darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Greene darts in and clinches Thompson up against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Thompson scores with a nice short uppercut.

Greene is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Thompson can't fight it off and eventually Greene manages to take the fight to the floor. Thompson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Greene is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Greene swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Thompson.

Thompson jumps guard but Greene stands there with Thompson around his waist. Thompson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Greene pushes Thompson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Greene lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Thompson to his knees! Greene keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
