Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bea Mason (ranked 3023 p4p, 402 weight class) and Vincenzo Hall (ranked 3001 p4p, 399 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bea Mason! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vincenzo Hall ! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mason slips a jab and a cross from Hall .
Hall stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Mason moves into the clinch. Mason tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Mason is trying to stall.
Hall wants a takedown but no success here.

Mason tries a body shot but Hall blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hall has Mason pressed against the cage, preventing Mason from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Hall . Mason is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Hall blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mason tries to pull guard but Hall holds him up against the cage and eventually Mason drops back down to his feet.
Hall has picked Mason up - he's going for a ride! Hall dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Mason tries to get to full guard but Hall has control of the leg. Mason trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
The referee warns Mason that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Hall controlling from the full mount. Mason has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Mason tries to hold on but Hall postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Hall landing shots from mount. Mason is trying desperately to improve position. Mason tries to lock up and control but Hall gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. This has been an exciting period of action! Hall lands a big shot there that rocks Mason but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
A nice elbow there by Hall . Hall breaks from Mason's wrist control and lands an elbow. Hall controlling his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall 's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Mason is desperately trying to improve his position but Hall has a good base and remains in mount. You get the feeling that Mason really doesn't like being in this position too much.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hall controlling his opponent. More stalling from Hall . It looks like Hall might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mason in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vincenzo Hall dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A swing and a miss from Hall . Hall has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Hall connects with a body shot. Mason throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bea Mason seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mason shoots in for a takedown but Hall shows good takedown defense. Hall is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Mason with a body shot. Mason shoots in for a takedown but Hall shows good takedown defense. Mason walks into a straight right hand from Hall . Hall circles away from the clinch attempt.

Hall with the counter takedown but Mason avoids it easily. Hall swats away the attempt to clinch by Mason. Hall is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mason shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hall defends it nicely. Hall throws out a counter right but Mason avoids it with no problem. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bea Mason. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mason is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mason moves in looking to clinch but Hall pushes him off. Bea Mason is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mason has a takedown stuffed. Hall bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Mason is looking for a sweep. Hall staying calm. Mason tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hall wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall cracks Mason with a big right hand but Mason just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Hall content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Hall is continuing to stall. Hall landing a few strikes. Hall in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mason is being controlled here. You can see the frustration on Mason's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Hall controlling the position. Hall working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hall is chipping away with strikes.
Hall lands some shots froms side control. Hall working the ground and pound. Mason tries to bench press Hall off him but Hall keeps the position. Hall moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hall working the body and head with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vincenzo Hall showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Hall shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hall showed some decent athleticism there. Mason is looking to control Hall 's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mason avoid being mounted? Hall tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mason knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Mason has hold of Hall 's hands but Hall slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hall controlling the action here. Mason looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hall lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Hall is pressing down on Mason's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mason is holding on for now. Hall with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Hall stops Mason from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hall takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Vincenzo Hall has got the better of the ground game so far. Mason wants to sweep but Hall has passed to side control! Hall cracks Mason with an elbow. That is naaassty. Mason is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Mason is letting Hall control him for a moment. Hall lands some shots froms side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall scores with punches from side control. Hall in side control, just content to control the action for now. Mason is looking for a sweep. Hall lands some shots froms side control. Hall in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mason is looking to regain half guard here but Hall keeps moving and retains side control. Hall is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Mason will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Mason is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Hall working Mason over with strikes. Vincenzo Hall is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Mason is trying to get back to full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hall winds up and cracks Mason with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Vincenzo Hall comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Hall winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
