Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nino Brown (ranked 7186 p4p, 679 weight class) and Taivon Arsett (ranked 7190 p4p, 680 weight class). Arsett has chosen MGK- Till I die as his entrance music. Taivon Arsett has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Taivon Arsett!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown fails with a takedown attempt.

Arsett stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Brown.
Brown manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Arsett on his heels. He'll look to pass Arsett's guard now, I'm sure.

Arsett tries to get to full guard but Brown has control of the leg.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Arsett has hold of Brown's hands but Brown slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Brown seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Brown connects with a nice short shot to Arsett's temple.
Brown has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Arsett on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Arsett is not content to let Brown control the position.

Brown lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Brown looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Arsett with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Brown passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Arsett!

Arsett is desperately trying to improve his position but Brown has a good base and remains in mount.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brown looking to control but Arsett is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Brown cracks Arsett with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
