Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dreadlock Rasta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mahmoud Gameel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rasta's entrance music is Buffalo Soldier. A fine choice. Dreadlock Rasta has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dreadlock Rasta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mahmoud Gameel! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gameel clinches up against the cage. Gameel breaks the clinch.
Rasta looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gameel is fending him off so far but Rasta persists. Nope, Gameel circles away and we're back to standing. Gameel stuffs the takedown attempt from Rasta. Rasta gets slowly back to his feet. Gameel closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gameel lands in his opponent's guard. Rasta is looking to stand up but Gameel isn't so interested in that idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gameel looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Rasta keeping moving, preventing Gameel from controlling successfully. Rasta wants to stand but Gameel is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gameel throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Rasta is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gameel is controlling him. Rasta is looking to sweep but instead, Gameel has passed into half guard.
Gameel wants to free his trapped foot but Rasta is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Rasta shoots and misses and Gameel makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Rasta really felt that one! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dreadlock Rasta. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rasta is breathing heavily. Gameel moves into the clinch. Gameel gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gameel is controlling the pace.
Gameel throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gameel decides to stand and escape the position. Gameel changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rasta looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. This has been an exciting period of action! Gameel moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Gameel tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gameel has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gameel trying to control the action but Rasta is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gameel stands up and beckons Rasta to his feet. Gameel misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Gameel moves into the clinch. Gameel pulls Rasta into guard.
Gameel keeping moving, preventing Rasta from controlling successfully. Rasta wants to stand and escape but instead Gameel has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Gameel trying to control but Rasta is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rasta had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Gameel is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rasta Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Gameel's back instead. Gameel tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Rasta trying to control but Gameel is having none of it. Rasta stands up from mount. Strange move. Gameel throws a head kick that half lands.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mahmoud Gameel dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Rasta wants to clinch and Gameel counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Rasta tries to clinch up. Rasta tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Gameel holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Gameel as Rasta tries to tie him up. Gameel wants a takedown but no success here.

Gameel circles away from the clinch attempt and Gameel counters with a head kick. That will keep Rasta thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A jab lands there for Gameel. Gameel blocks the body kick.
Gameel drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rasta looking for a sweep. Not yet Rasta, not yet. Gameel is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Gameel is in close to Rasta's body, working some short punches and elbows. Rasta keeping moving, preventing Gameel from controlling successfully. Rasta looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gameel is one step ahead there. Gameel drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gameel jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Rasta escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gameel gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gameel wants to control from the top but Rasta keeps moving.

Gameel tightens his grip and picks Rasta up, before dumping him to the ground. Rasta manages to land in guard. Gameel with a flurry of punches that miss. Rasta looking for a sweep. Not yet Rasta, not yet. Gameel is pushing down on Rasta's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rasta is fighting to maintain full guard but Gameel has managed to sneak the leg through. Gameel seems to be looking for submissions.
Gameel thows a huge punch but Rasta dodges it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gameel is trying to control the action in half guard but Rasta is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Rasta looking for submissions off his back. Rasta is trying to stand up here but Gameel is controlling him well.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Rasta looks for a takedown but Gameel sprawls well. Rasta tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gameel swivels and escapes. Gameel lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rasta backs up against the cage.
Gameel drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Rasta is looking to stand up but Gameel isn't so interested in that idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rasta is looking for a triangle but Gameel pushes his legs off easily.
Gameel gets to his feet. Rasta looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Rasta misses with a takedown and Gameel decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rasta's guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dreadlock Rasta. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gameel stands up and waves to Rasta to follow him. Dreadlock Rasta is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gameel scores with a takedown into Rasta's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rasta is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mahmoud Gameel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Rasta's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Rasta kicks Gameel off and gets back to his feet. Gameel closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Rasta is defending against the submission attempts here by Gameel.
Mahmoud Gameel has got the better of the ground game so far. Gameel content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gameel seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Gameel is looking for a kimura here.
Gameel prevents Rasta from improving his position. Gameel not doing much here.
Rasta wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Gameel stops Rasta from getting back to his feet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Rasta with a lazy takedown attempt and Gameel counters with a flying knee. Nice. Gameel fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Gameel shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rasta but Rasta pushes him off and we're back to square one. Gameel pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rasta closes the distance but Gameel moves to the side and Gameel counters by clinching up. Gameel manages to break the clinch.
Gameel fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Dreadlock Rasta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mahmoud Gameel.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gameel looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Gameel must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Rasta uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Rasta looks to clinch and Gameel holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Gameel looking for a takedown. Rasta is trying to break the clinch but Gameel has him pressed against the cage. Gameel breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rasta tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Gameel makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Gameel looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Rasta! Gameel looking to control but Rasta is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gameel breaks from Rasta's wrist control and lands an elbow. Rasta is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Gameel tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Rasta trying desperately to get to his feet.

Dreadlock Rasta has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mahmoud Gameel is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Gameel working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
And that's the end of the fight! Mahmoud Gameel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Gameel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
