Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chiharu Shiba (ranked 4132 p4p, 432 weight class) and Dom Mal (ranked 4781 p4p, 486 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Shiba might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Godsmack - Immune & Sick Puppies - Survive . Dom Mal has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Shiba definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Shiba wants to get back to striking at distance but Mal won't allow it.
Mal has Shiba pressed against the cage, preventing Shiba from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Mal is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Shiba lands a body punch in the clinch.

Mal tries to close the distance and clinch up but Shiba swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A nice side step and Mal releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Mal is looking to control Shiba's arms but Shiba gets an underhook and turns him. Now Mal has his back to the cage.

Shiba fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Mal square on the jaw! Damn, Mal is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
