1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tuccio Turturro! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turturro moves into the clinch. Turturro has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Son regains guard immediately. We've been hearing good reports from Son's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Turturro being controlled here momentarily. Son looking for a sweep. Not yet Son, not yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Son escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Turturro gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Turturro wants to control from the top but Son keeps moving. Son on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Son tries to get out of the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Son slips out almost immediately though and dives into Turturro's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Son cracks Turturro with a solid left hand. Son knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Turturro on the ground. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Son's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Turturro is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Son defends well. Turturro is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Turturro is looking to cinch up a triangle. Son throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Turturro's body to avoid the submission. Turturro has instead reached around Son's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Turturro arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
