The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Talon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dover closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Talon is trying to stand up here but Dover is controlling him well.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dover cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dover fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Talon wants to get back to his feet.
Dover lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Talon is rocked!

Dover lands a couple of good shots and Talon has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Oh Talon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dover cracks Talon with a big right hand from the back mount! Talon immediately covers up and the referee dives in to save him under a barrage of more strikes! Dover takes this one by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tom Dover!
