And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Lawler or perhaps it was just good defense by Datsik, which made it look bad.
Datsik lands with a good body shot.
Datsik fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Lawler fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Datsik ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Lawler shoots in and drives through. Datsik sprawls well.
Donnie Datsik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Lawler.

and Datsik counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lawler shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Datsik sprawls well. Datsik wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lawler gets slowly back to his feet.

Datsik throws a front kick that sends Lawler stumbling back into the cage.

Lawler is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Datsik throws a combination. Lawler tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Are you kidding me?! Datsik ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Lawler clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
