Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Chiasson (ranked 20227 p4p, 0 weight class) and Long Wang (ranked 9453 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wang keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Chiasson.
And Wang responds with a good body kick, but Chiasson manages to step out the way in time.
A looping hook to the body misses from Chiasson. Wang does a little dance to reset his feet.

Wang stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chiasson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Chiasson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Wang is stalling here. Chiasson is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Wang seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Chiasson has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Chiasson is trying to get an arm triangle but Wang is defending well.

Chiasson catches Wang with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Wang scores with a kick to the midsection.
Wang finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Long Wang showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Wang tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Chiasson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Wang feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Chiassons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
