Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vasile Vasla (ranked 4325 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yahweh Falwell (ranked 15955 p4p, 0 weight class). Falwell is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Don't Stop Believing. Vasile Vasla could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Yahweh Falwell's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vasile Vasla! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 91 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yahweh Falwell! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vasla avoids the head kick by Falwell.
Falwell looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Vasla wants to clinch. Falwell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Vasla gets a takedown into half guard. Vasla controlling the action here. Ground and pound from Vasla. Vasla with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Falwell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vasla. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Falwell is trying to stand up here but Vasla is controlling him well. Vasla controlling the pace. Vasla throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vasla not doing much here.
Vasla is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Falwell doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Vasla. Vasla passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Falwell! Vasla looking for a guillotine from mount but Falwell is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vasla tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vasla has hold of Falwell's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Falwell manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Vasla is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Vasla extends the arm and Falwell is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Vasile Vasla! Yahweh Falwell was interviewed post fight and said 'Hasa diga eebowai. I guess I didn't pray hard enough, or maybe prayed too much. I bet if I trained more instead praying, I might have avoided getting KO'd. I guess it's God's will. But to quote George Carlin: "If it's God's will and he's going to do what he wants to anyway, why'.
