Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Dux Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
32 - 90 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mountain Rivera! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rivera fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dux Jr to the ground. Rivera is now in Dux Jr's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rivera stays in close to Dux Jr's body and controls the position. Dux Jr knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rivera on the ground. Dux Jr trying to keep a closed guard but Rivera is proving a slippery customer.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Donk. Dux Jr catches Rivera right on the button with a cross. Rivera stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dux Jr. Dux Jr fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rivera. Rivera looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Dux Jr catches Rivera with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Dux Jr rushes Rivera and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Dux Jr using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Rivera has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Dux Jr lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Rivera jumps guard but Dux Jr stands there with Rivera around his waist. Rivera gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Dux Jr gets through Rivera's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rivera blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice elbow from Dux Jr. Dux Jr with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Dux Jr lands a nice knee to the body. Rivera has Dux Jr pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dux Jr manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Frank Dux Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mountain Rivera. Rivera takes a knee to the side of the body. Dux Jr tries to throw a body punch but Rivera avoids it by throwing Dux Jr back against the cage. Good body shot from Dux Jr.

Rivera misses with a knee to the head. Dux Jr unloads a knee to the mid-section. Dux Jr connects with a nasty looking knee right to Rivera's face.
Dux Jr scores with a nice hook to the head. Dux Jr lands a hook that snaps the head of Rivera backwards. Rivera drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dux Jr pulls his leg out and moves away.
Dux Jr connects with a solid leg kick. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dux Jr moves into the clinch. Dux Jr scores with a knee to the head.
Dux Jr lands a nice knee to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Dux Jr dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Rivera lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dux Jr circles away quickly and effectively. Dux Jr misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dux Jr cracks Rivera with a right hand to the side of the head. Rivera closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dux Jr circles away. Dux Jr tried to counter with a leg kick but Rivera avoided it. Dux Jr sizes up Rivera with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Rivera is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Dux Jr.
Rivera is rocked! Rivera has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Dux Jr. Rivera is still on wobbly legs! Can Dux Jr finish him? Dux Jr drops Rivera with a big left hand! Rivera is injured, injured bad! Dux Jr jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
