Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teuvo Peltonen (ranked 6181 p4p, 638 weight class) and Soda Popinski (ranked 5464 p4p, 604 weight class). Soda Popinski will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Teuvo Peltonen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Soda Popinski! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Popinski thows a body kick. Peltonen tries to catch it but that hurt him. Peltonen looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Good leg kick by Popinski there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Soda Popinski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Popinski lands a front kick. Peltonen takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Popinski lands a nice looking body kick. Peltonen takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Popinski fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Peltonen. A solid leg kick lands there for Popinski.
Popinski throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Peltonen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Popinski can pounce on him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Peltonen on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
A nice leg kick lands there from Popinski. Popinski connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Peltonen to the floor! Popinski dives in looking for the finish!
It looks like Teuvo Peltonen has been cut. Popinski with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Popinski not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Popinski thows a huge punch but Peltonen dodges it nicely.
Popinski thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Popinski takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Popinski lands with a punch from half guard. Popinski working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Popinski throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Peltonen crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
